babies

The pic above is my two babes when they were pups. We had lost our two dogs the fall of '03. They had been abandoned as pups at the school where my husband was principal, and we had a major dog deficiency at the time, so we adopted them both. They had been with us for 11 years and died within a few months of each other. It was a real heartbreaker. Well, I just couldn't live without tail wags and doggie kisses, and we went to the Pleasanton (CA) farmers' market where we met these two incredible puppies in the pic above. They have been our main snuggles ever since.

They were two of eight pups that had been left in a gunny sack at a feed store in Modesto, California, and Tri-Valley Animal Rescue (TVAR) rescued them. They had a wonderful foster mommie until their real mommie (me) came along and adopted these two.

christmas

This was our Christmas family photo taken for Christmas 2004. I have three stepchildren but, as I tell everyone, these are my REAL children: Mo and Molly. Molly is really quite the princess. My husband and I were laughing through the whole photo shoot! We had a ball!
