Please adopt your pets from a shelter. In California alone, over half a MILLION pets are euthanized each YEAR - just in California! Many pure-bred dogs are surrendered to shelters so even if you want a pure-breed, check with your shelter or that breed's rescue organization! Most breeds have one dedicated to their dogs.
