I work in watercolors,
watercolor pencils, and watercolor crayons. I work from photos you supply, either hardcopy or high
resolution digital files. For the doggie memorial, I embellish it with angel
wings and a heavenly background. For current best friend portraits, I tend
to keep the background simple. For Charlie, the kitty, I did a graphite pencil drawing and added some color on the nose and eyes.
Several high-resolution photos that have
good details. The better the photos you supply, the more accurate my
interpretation will be. Pictures that are 72 dpi and made for the web are not
really workable.
I will need about a 3- to 4-week turnaround
time. If you have any special time requirements, let me know, and I will
see what I can do to accommodate you. |

My pricing starts at $1,200 per watercolor portrait
for my standard 12x16" size, but my "heart" work is supporting animal rescue groups. Sooooo, if you will donate $200 to an animal rescue group, you will pay only $800 to me! That's a savings of $200 and your check to the rescue group will be a tax deductible gift! When your artwork is finished, you will send me TWO checks, one for the rescue group of your choice and the second for me. I have many favorite rescue groups so if you don't have a favorite, I have more than enough suggestions! For a drawing (9x9", see Charlie) my price starts at $600. These
prices are for the portrait only. Shipping costs and sales tax will be added.
NOTE: When your art is done, I scan it to create a digital file so you can order giclee prints that can be a different size than the original, for other members of your family!
