About Me, Galen Hazelhofer I am a graphic designer and I now live in Calaveras County, California, in the Sierra foothills. I do graphic design work for some of the animal rescue groups and this is my heart work.

My charge for a painting :
$600 plus a $200 donation to an animal rescue group.
I need a really good photo of your pet in order to do a good representation of your special "babe."

Inspiration:

All my dogs have added so much to my life and I realized how they are all really angels providing lots of love and kisses. So I use my artistic talent to do doggy portraits and I always fall in love with each pet I do! I hope you enjoy my paintings.

I live about 15 minutes from the Performing Animal Welfare Society and have gotten involved in doing paintings of their elephants for their fundraisers. I am still learning about the plight of captive elephants and other wildlife. I am so saddened that so much wildlife habitat is being lost and that so many animals are abused and used for monetary gain. Please do all you can to educate yourself on these topics! And don't EVER go to a circus that uses elephants and performing animals!
