"Maya's portrait really captures my favorite of her expressions: focused, inquisitive, yet a bit concerned.  It's the expression I call her "puppy look."  Everyone who has seen the portrait has raved about how it absolutely captures Maya.  I don't know how anyone could take this face back to the shelter and walk away, yet I am so thankful that her previous family did just that when they knew she wasn't the dog for them!  Thank you for this treasure!
